China: China launched a new group of satellites Saturday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province. The PIESAT-2 13-16 satellite group was launched aboard a Long March-2D carrier rocket and successfully entered its predetermined orbits.

According to Qatar News Agency, the launch marked the 668th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series. The PIESAT-2 13-16 group consists of four remote-sensing satellites equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technology. Developed by GalaxySpace, the satellites feature high-resolution payloads and capabilities for intelligent processing of remote-sensing data in orbit.
