Gaza Strip: Seventeen civilians, including children, were killed and several others injured in Israeli occupation airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that six Palestinians, including two brothers, two children, and a woman, were killed in a shelling of a residential house in Khan Yunis, located in the southern part of the enclave. In Gaza City, 11 people, including four children, were reported dead.

This brings the total number of casualties today to approximately 38, with 30 of them occurring in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Health earlier announced that since the beginning of the conflict on October 7, 2023, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has climbed to 52,314. The number of injuries is estimated at 17,792.

A ceasefire deal was declared on January 15, 2025, after prolonged negotiations involving Qatar, Egypt, and the United States. However, the Israeli occupation forces resumed their attacks on March 18, resulting in the deaths of 2,222 civilians and injuries to 5,751 others.
