Doha: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced early Tuesday that it had completed a new round of strikes against Iran, marking the 10th consecutive day of operations.
According to Qatar News Agency, CENTCOM revealed in a post on X that its forces targeted Iranian military command centers, naval capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and air defense systems. The statement emphasized that the objective was to degrade Iran's ability to continue attacking commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM further stated that US forces remain prepared to hold Iran accountable for any unprovoked aggression targeting civilian mariners seeking to transit the strait freely and openly.
