Doha: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it began carrying out a third wave of military strikes against Iran tonight.

According to Qatar News Agency, CENTCOM issued a statement this evening indicating that its forces had launched additional strikes against Iran. These actions are in accordance with directives from US President Donald Trump.

The statement further highlighted that the strikes aim to degrade Iranian capabilities that pose threats to civilian mariners and commercial vessels navigating the Strait of Hormuz.
