Doha:The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) has announced that Canadian firm Fiera Capital has joined its platform and established a local office in Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, QFC described Fiera Capital as a leading independent asset management firm, managing approximately USD 115 billion in assets as of June 2026. Fiera's UK subsidiary has received initial authorization from the QFC Regulatory Authority and will operate as Fiera Capital (UK) LTD QFC Branch in Qatar.
Mansoor Rashid Al Khater, CEO of QFC, emphasized the importance of Fiera Capital's licensing, highlighting that the entry of an established international asset manager into Qatar reflects growing confidence in the nation as a regional financial hub, enhancing the depth of its asset management sector.
Klaus Schuster, Executive Director and CEO of Fiera Capital for EMEA and Asia, expressed gratitude for the QFC's partnership, noting that opening an office in Qatar enables closer collaboration with investors and contributes to Qatar's National Vision 2030.
The QFC, located in Doha, serves as an onshore business and financial center, offering a unique legal, regulatory, tax, and business environment. It allows up to 100% foreign ownership, 100% repatriation of profits, and a competitive corporate tax rate of 10% on locally sourced profits.
