The Bahrain Handball Federation (BHF) concluded on Wednesday the level three handball coaching course, organised by the training and development centre of the BHF and supervised by the International Handball Federation (IHF) and the Asian Handball Federation (AHF).
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, the General Sports Authority (GSA) Chief Executive Officer, Badr Dhiyab, Vice President of the International Handball Federation for Asia, and many sports personalities, lecturers, and students.
Ali Isa Ishaqi, President of BHF, emphasised the importance of the handball courses to develop the skills of Bahraini coaches and their training capabilities under the supervision of the national federation and AHF. He emphasised the role of national coaches in developing Bahraini handball.
Ishaqi commended the continuous support of Bahrain’s Olympic Committee (BOC) and the General Sports Authority (GSA), as well as sponsoring companies and clubs.
He highlighted the contributions of natio
nal lecturers to the course, led by Dr. Nabil Taha, and international lecturers, including Essam Abdullah and Ali Al Anzoor.
Ishaqi commended the commitment and efforts of the 40 participants during the course.
For his part, Dhiyab commended the advancement of Bahraini handball teams and BHF’s commitment to developing the game.
Dr. Taha commended the federation’s efforts in hosting the course and its readiness to organise the level two course, which will be held in November.
During the ceremony, the graduating students of the level three course were honoured, as were the organisers and lecturers, for their support and efforts.
