Minsk: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held talks on Sunday with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, focusing on strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions included an exchange of views on key regional and international issues of mutual interest. The two sides also signed two agreements and four memoranda of understanding to deepen bilateral collaboration.
Sultan Haitham described the visit as an opportunity to further enhance ties, highlighting the growth in economic, trade, and investment relations in recent years. President Lukashenko emphasized the beginning of a new phase in bilateral relations, noting that the countries’ comprehensive roadmap for cooperation covers sectors such as food security, industry, tourism, transport, logistics, and investment.
