BDF Commander-in-Chief receives BDF golf team

Manama, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received the BDF golf team. The meeting, attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Noaimi, the Minister of Defence Affairs, celebrated the team’s historic achievement at the 15th World Military Golf Championship.

The Commander-in-Chief awarded the team the Medal of Excellence for securing first and second places in the Senior individual category and third place in the team competition. The championship took place in Zimbabwe and had participants from fourteen countries.

The Commander-in-Chief attributed the success to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.

The meeting was attended by several senior officers of BDF.
