Counsellor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, Chairman of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, received Ambassador Dr. Yousif Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The meeting discussed cooperation and coordination in both fields legal and human rights.
The chairman praised the ministry’s efforts in these fields and its role in boosting relations between Bahrain and all countries and international organizations, defending the Kingdom’s interests and its citizens, strengthening its regional and international status, and its distinguished role in managing the human rights file.
Counsellor Hamza stressed the commission’s keenness to cooperate with the ministry to support all efforts in the field of human rights; to highlight the pioneering experience of Bahrain in this field.
The director general praised the distinguished efforts made by the commission in the two fields.
