The Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence Director-General praised the directives and support of the Minister of Interior which enable the Kingdom of Bahrain to achieve the “Tier 1” status for the sixth consecutive year in the United States Department of State’s 2023 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report, which is the highest annual international classification in this field.
In a statement today, he lauded the follow-up of the Public Security Chief, commending the role and efforts of the National Committee for Combating Trafficking in Persons and the General Directorate for Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence.
He indicated that Bahrain’s success in achieving the “Tier 1” status for the sixth consecutive year in the United States Department of State’s 2023 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report, which is the highest annual international classification in this field, represents a vote of international confidence in the Kingdom.
