Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced on Monday that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and eliminated multiple inbound aerial threats originating from Iran.
According to Qatar News Agency, the General Command indicated that Iran has been conducting missile and one-way drone attacks targeting civilians in Bahrain. The Command reassured that all defense units remain vigilant and prepared to protect the nation.
The Command has also issued a warning to the public, advising caution and urging individuals to report any unidentified or suspicious aerial objects immediately, in light of the ongoing Iranian threats.
Furthermore, the General Command condemned the use of missiles and drones against civilians and private property, labeling it a violation of international humanitarian law.
