Jazan:Two airports in southern Saudi Arabia were targeted in attacks on Monday evening, resulting in injuries to three individuals and causing material damage, as reported by the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the attacks hit facilities at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan and Najran International Airport. Emergency teams and relevant authorities responded promptly following established procedures and emergency plans.

The three injured individuals sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment. The aviation authority is collaborating with security agencies to assess the damage and implement measures to ensure the safety of passengers and staff, as well as the security of the kingdom's civil aviation system.
