‘Arab American’ and the Specialized Hospital in Jordan sign a cooperation agreement

Jenin – Together – The Arab American University in Palestine, represented by the University’s Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Baraa Asfour, and the Specialized Hospital in Jordan, represented by the General Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri, signed the training and academic cooperation agreement, at the hospital’s headquarters in the Jordanian capital. Oman.

The agreement stipulates the exchange of scientific and practical experiences between the two parties, accrediting the Specialized Hospital in Amman as one of the educational and training centers for students of the Faculty of Human Medicine at the university, and providing specialists with distinguished experience and qualifications in learning, scientific research and training for students of the Faculty of Medicine. It was also agreed upon on administrative exchange between the university and the hospital. .

Dr. Malik Zabin, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University, explained the importance of this agreement with the Specialized Hospital known for its development, which will train students of the Faculty of Medicine at the University, at the hands of skilled specialists, pointing out the University’s constant endeavor to sign agreements with local and Arab medical institutions in order to provide high-level education. For medical college students.

For his part, Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri, Director General of the Specialized Hospital, welcomed the guests and appreciated their distinguished efforts in supporting university students whose universities were destroyed in the Gaza Strip. He stressed that the Specialized Hospital will continue to support our people in Palestine, and that the hospital is fully prepared to provide the students with the necessary training opportunities and programs to ensure quality Education outcomes: The Specialized Hospital is a teaching hospital accredited by the Jordanian Medical Council and the Arab Medical Council for Health Specialties since 2006, and is also accredited by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission. It includes within its scope the Specialized Training Center, which provides all basic and advanced life support programs.

The agreement was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine at the University, Dr. Malik Zabin, and the Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Fadi Jumaa, and by the Specialized Hospital, the Assistant Director General, Dr. Riyad Al-Sharqawi, the Medical Director, Dr. Hani Al-Kurdi, and the Director of Medical Training and Education, Dr. Saleh Al-Araj. And the head of the Specialized Training Center, Mr. Louay Sahawneh.
