Qatar’s Al Wakra exited the first round of the 3×3 club basketball world tour which is being hosted by the Philippines for three days, with the participation of the 12 most prominent teams in the world representing ten countries.
Al Wakra’s early exit from the competition came after they finished third in the strong Group D, which included Mongolian Sansar Energiz and Chinese Beijing.
The Qatari team lost their first match in the group against Sansar Energy of Mongolia with 7-21. They lost in their second match against Beijing of China with 10-22.
The participating Qatari team in the World Tour competitions included Ali Saeed, Mubarak Jama, Mohamed Ihab and Brandon Spearman.
