Doha: Al Sadd Club clinched victory in the HH the Amir Table Tennis Cup for the 2025-2026 season, narrowly defeating Al Arabi 3-2 in an intense final match at the Abdullah bin Suhaim Hall in Qatar Sports Club.
According to Qatar News Agency, the prestigious trophy was presented to Al Sadd by HE Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain. Meanwhile, Hamad Ahmed Al Hammadi, President of the Qatar Table Tennis Association, awarded Al Arabi as the runners-up in the competition.
A total of nine clubs participated in this season's tournament, including Al Wakra, Al Shamal, Qatar, Al Rayyan, Al Ahli, Al Sadd, Al Khor, Al Gharafa, and Al Arabi. Al Sadd secured their place in the final by overcoming Qatar with a 3-1 victory in the first semi-final, whereas Al Arabi advanced to the final after a hard-fought 3-2 win against Al Khor in the second semi-final.
