Doha: Al Raya newspaper has commended the State of Qatar’s pioneering humanitarian and development initiatives aimed at promoting peace and love, and supporting the resilience of the most needy communities worldwide, stressing that these efforts have made Qatar a model of solidarity and multilateral international cooperation.
The newspaper emphasized that Qatar spares no effort in supporting United Nations funds and international organizations to assist the people of developing and disaster-stricken countries, driven by its moral responsibility.
In its editorial on Saturday titled “Qatari Relief for Namibia,” the newspaper highlighted Qatar’s proactive role in providing creative initiatives that contribute to global development and respect for human rights. It reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to playing a distinguished role in providing humanitarian aid and developmental assistance aimed at making a fundamental positive change in the reality of the most needy communities.
On this note, a Qatari Armed Forces a
ircraft arrived in the Republic of Namibia on Friday, carrying 30 tons of aid as a first batch, including food baskets provided by the Qatar Fund for Development.
Al Raya pointed out that Qatar, a leader in international solidarity during crises, dedicates its humanitarian efforts to support the resilience of communities worldwide in facing disasters. The aid sent to Namibia and its people is part of Qatar’s support for those affected by the drought in the country.
The editorial added that the wise leadership has entrenched the principle of solidarity and multilateral international action as a fundamental principle of Qatari foreign policy, which aligns with Qatar’s commitment to mediation, diplomatic solutions, and dialogue as the only ways to resolve international crises, wars, and conflicts. Qatari aid has reached every continent and has assisted every needy spot on earth.
