Doha: Al-Duhail Sports Club announced the transfer of its first-team player, Humam Al Amin, to Spanish club Cultural Y Leonesa, effective from the current winter transfer window. Al-Duhail confirmed in a statement on its official X platform that Humam Al Amin has joined Cultural Y Leonesa on loan until the end of the current season.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al-Duhail had signed Humam Al Amin in July 2024, after he spent five years with Al-Gharafa Club from 2019, following a one-year stint with Belgian club Eupen from 2017 to 2018. Humam Al Amin has delivered strong performances with Al-Duhail and Al-Gharafa, as well as with the Qatari national team, where he was one of its key players in recent years, winning the 2023 AFC Asian Cup held in Doha.
Al-Duhail currently occupies the sixth position in the Qatari Football League standings, also known as the Doha Bank Stars League 2025-2026, with 19 points from 13 matches.
