Al Duhail SC first handball team defeated today, China’s Junior Club 40-26 in the second group completions of the 25th Asian Men’s Club League Handball Championship held in Esfahan, Iran, until June 10, with the championship being a qualifier for the 2023 edition of the IHF Men’s Super Globe.

With this win, the Qatari club is on top of Group B with 6 points and is approaching the semifinal round.

Al Duhail SC had won its first match on Thursday, against the Uzbek team RKOR Tashkent by 39-26, only to lose in its second match on Friday, against Bahrain’s Al Najma Club with a score of 26-28 before win 39-26 over Al Kuwait SC (defending champion) The Qatari team will conclude its group stage matches by competing against Iranian Shahid Shameli Kazeroon Club on Tuesday.
