Akka – Ma’an – A 33-year-old woman was killed and a 35-year-old man was seriously injured on Saturday evening in a shooting near the village of Kisra Sami’ inside the 1948 territories.
In Al-Fureidis, two young men (26 and 19 years old) were seriously and moderately injured as a result of a shooting, and they were transferred to the hospital.
The Palestinian community in the 1948 territories is witnessing a dangerous escalation in violence and crime, with the number of murder victims reaching 171, including women and children, since the beginning of this year.
Last year witnessed an unprecedented number of murders in Palestinian society within the 1948 territories, reaching 228 dead, including 16 women, noting that the perpetrators were not brought to trial in most of the cases.
