A delegation from the political and national guidance visits the Polytechnic University

Hebron – Together – A delegation from the National Education Committee of the Political and National Guidance Authority, headed by Brigadier General Ismail Ghannam, Political Commissioner for the Hebron Governorate and member of the Revolutionary Council of the Fatah movement, Ziyad Rajoub, Amjad Al-Najjar, Director General of Public Relations and Media at the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club, and Dr. Abdel Qader Al-Darwish, lecturer at Al-Quds Open University, Lieutenant Colonel Fadi Makharza, Deputy Director of the Customs Police, cadres of the National Education Committee and a number of academics at Al-Quds Open University, and from the security services and customs police, in the presence of a number of administrators, academics, youth staff and its coordinator, Youssef Ghannam, and the President of the Student Council at the Polytechnic University. Muhammad Abu Dabous visited Palestine Polytechnic University and met with the university’s president, Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa, and the vice presidents.

At the be
ginning of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Qader Al-Darwish gave a speech praising Palestine Polytechnic University, an important scientific edifice in the country, and he supported the decision to appoint Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa as president of the university, which will have a positive impact on the educational process at the university, explaining that Dr. Abu Safa, who is an assistant professor in physics at the university, has served He holds the position of Academic Vice President of the University. He also worked as a lecturer in the College of Applied Sciences and enjoys the respect and appreciation of all academic staff in the governorate.

Ziad Rajoub spoke on behalf of the delegation, offering congratulations to Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa and wishing him success for what is best for the students and for the educational process, in which our Palestinian cause is passing through very difficult circumstances that call for support and assistance from everyone in order to advance our universities, whose continuing
educational role is the greatest victory over the occupation.

Rajoub praised the role of Palestine Polytechnic University as an ancient scientific edifice, and an important choice for enrolling hundreds of our successful students in this scientific edifice, which produced thousands of students, some of whom have a major role in building state institutions and countries around the world.

He stressed that the National Education Committee will be a fundamental supporter in instilling national education among students, and that they are ready for any support and assistance in order to preserve this great scientific edifice.

In turn, the Political Commissioner for the Hebron Governorate, Brigadier General Ismail Ghannam, confirmed that this delegation from the National Education Committee and the cadres of the National and Security Movement came to extend congratulations to the President of the University, with all support and support in order to complete the educational process in which the Palestinian issue i
s going through the most difficult circumstances, and that the leadership of a university is no different from the leadership of An army battalion to protect the homeland.

Ghanem stressed that the Political and National Guidance Authority, along with the National Education Committee and all its cadres, are ready to provide everything necessary to enhance the national culture that reinforces the principle of belonging to the homeland and the cause.

In a speech by Amjad Al-Najjar, Director General of Public Relations and Media at the Prisoner’s Club, he offered congratulations on behalf of the prisoners’ cadres to Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa, stressing that Palestinian universities are citadels of steadfastness and challenge and are no different from the citadels of families in occupation prisons, as universities and prisons were the true tributary to strengthening national culture and national action in Confronting the occupation. Over the years of the occupation, universities were raided and their cadres of edu
cational elites were arrested and thrown into prisons. There was a national cohesion between these elites and the cadres of the captive movement, so that this led to the strengthening of the Palestinian internal front and the continued steadfastness of the Palestinian cause in the face of all the occupation’s plans.

Al-Najjar expressed the pride of the prisoner movement at Palestine Polytechnic University for the educational elites’ provision of creating men who played a role in the Palestinian national movement, especially since hundreds of male and female students at the university were subjected to arrests, many of whom were subjected to assassinations and some of whom rose as martyrs.

Wasfi Qabaja, Deputy Mayor of Tarqumiya, gave a speech in which he stressed that Palestinian universities constitute one of the most important national and struggle dimensions in the path of the Palestinian people, as Palestinian universities faced many challenges in terms of continuity and development, due to the obstacle
s and occupation policies directed against them at the student, administrative and academic levels.

In turn, Dr. Mustafa Abu Al-Safa welcomed the delegation, thanking everyone who attended, considering this visit from the National Education Committee of the Political Guidance Authority to be of great importance, especially in this difficult time that the Palestinian issue is going through, especially universities, under the siege, checkpoints, closures, targeting of students, and arrests.

He stressed the importance of strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the university and the national staff to enhance national culture, the importance of which comes at the same level as the educational courses.

Youth Coordinator Youssef Ghannam Azim expressed his thanks and gratitude for this visit from the high-level delegation of national inspirations and figures, and that the Youth Movement and the Student Council are a natural extension of the parent movement Fatah, and they are in the service of the student
sector towards spreading and cultivating the national spirit in order to preserve our national identity and refute the Zionist narrative.
