Hebron – Together – The Director of the Al-Quds Open University branch in Hebron, Dr. Muhammad Al-Haroub, received the President of the Plastic Industries Union and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hebron Governorate Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kamel Al-Zir Al-Husseini, and the Economic Advisor and Member of the Board of Directors of the Hebron Chamber, Ahmed Hassouna, with the aim of enhancing ways of joint cooperation.
The meeting took place in the presence of Academic Assistant A. Abdel Moneim Maraqa and a number of members of the academic and administrative bodies in the branch.
Dr. welcomed. Al-Haroub welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his compassion for the martyrs and denouncing the aggression against our people in all the governorates of the country. He conveyed to them the greetings of the university’s presidency and its board of trustees, stressing that Al-Quds Open University places all its capabilities in serving the people of our Palestinian people. He also stressed the
relationship of partnership with the chambers of commerce in all the governorates of the country. Because they represent an important segment of society, praising their role in promoting economic development by all means and methods and contributing to strengthening the resilience of our people in the face of all challenges.
The delegation emphasized the strength of the relationship between the Hebron Governorate Chamber and the Plastic Industries Union, with universities and Al-Quds Open University, and the scholarships and assistance they provide to students in light of the difficult economic conditions that our Palestinian people are going through.
During the meeting, they talked about the importance of coordination between the chamber and the university on many topics of interest to students, the most important of which is honing graduates with the skills needed by the labor market.
The two sides agreed to intensify meetings between the relevant departments, to identify needs, and develop a plan to imp
lement programs that benefit our society in Hebron Governorate and the country in general.
