Mosul (NINA) - A civilian was killed in an armed attack in Al-Ayadiya district, west of Mosul.

A source in the Nineveh Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a civilian working in a private generator, killing him instantly, and then fled to an unknown destination.”

He added: “The security forces opened an investigation into the incident and handed the body over to the forensic medicine department.”/ End
