A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hits southern Turkey

An earthquake measuring 4.1 magnitude on the Richter scale struck on Wednesday southern Turkey.

“The epicenter of the tremor was the city of Adana, in the south of the country, at a depth of 7 kilometers” The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority stated, on its website.

No casualties or damage were reported as a result of the tremor.
