6 Palestinians Wounded by Israeli Occupation Gunfire in Burqa, West Bank

At least six Palestinians were injured by live bullets as a result of an attack by Israeli occupation forces and colonists on the town of Burqa, east of Ramallah in the West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that six injuries arrived at Palestine Medical Complex; including one serious injury, two moderate injuries to the chest, two moderate injuries to the lower extremities, and a minor injury to the upper extremities.

In turn, the head of the Burqa Village Council, Sayel Kanaan said that colonists attacked the village from the northern and western sides, set Palestinians’ homes on fire, and fired live bullets at citizens, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA).

The occupation forces that stormed the village to provide protection for the colonists fired bullets, stun grenades, and toxic tear gas at residents, preventing them from putting out the fire. They also prevented civil defense crews from reaching the place. Meanwhile, colonists attacked citizens who managed to reach the fire and s
urrounded them, Kanaan added.

The village of Burqa is subjected to repeated raids by colonists under the protection of the occupation forces, amid attacks on citizens’ properties and the firing of live bullets at them.
