An earthquake measuring 6.0 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the San Luis province in western Argentina.
European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the San Luis province experienced an earthquake of 6.0 magnitude at a depth of 129 kilometers below the surface.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties or material damage from the earthquake.
This comes after a 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit the Jujuy province in northwestern Argentina in August.
