Ramallah: 58 Palestinians were injured by live and rubber-coated bullets, as well as from tear gas inhalation, during an Israeli military raid into the centers of Ramallah and Al Birch.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 8 people were wounded by live fire, 14 by rubber-coated metal bullets, and 5 by shrapnel from live rounds, while 31 others suffered from suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.
Local sources indicated that Israeli forces arrested at least three individuals after storming a currency exchange shop in the besieged area of central Ramallah and Al Birch, seizing all its contents. Meanwhile, a journalist’s vehicle was struck with rubber bullets.
Israeli soldiers also took positions on the rooftops of several buildings and suppressed participants in the National Day of Recovering the Bodies of Martyrs, which was being observed at the Baladna Center in Al Birch.
