Sumbawa:A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck the Sumbawa region of Indonesia, with no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
According to Qatar News Agency, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported that the earthquake occurred at 22:55 GMT on Saturday.
The epicenter of the quake was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, with preliminary coordinates at 9.69 degrees south latitude and 118.93 degrees east longitude.
Sumbawa, part of the West Nusa Tenggara province, is in a region known for frequent seismic activity. Indonesia's Meteorology and Geophysics Agency has recorded several tremors in the area in recent days.
