4.5-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Venezuela

Venezuela: An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck Venezuela on Sunday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers as reported by the US Geological Survey. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or material damage, and no tsunami warning has been issued.

Venezuela was previously struck on June 24 by two significant earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, occurring approximately 40 seconds apart. This earlier seismic activity prompted authorities to declare a state of emergency and led to several countries and international organizations sending rescue teams and humanitarian aid to assist the affected regions.
