Baghdad, Iraqi authorities announced the killing of three ISIS militants following an air strike in the Hamrin Mountains in the north of the country.
The Joint Operations Command reported, in a statement, that an air strike was carried out on an ISIS site in the Hamrin Mountains.
The air strike carried out by F-16 aircraft resulted in the killing of three members of the organization, in addition to the destruction of a site that contained weapons, equipment, and logistical materials, the statement added.
Iraqi security forces are still pursuing the remnants of ISIS in various governorates of the country, especially since its members occasionally target army and police personnel through armed attacks.
