Gaza: The Israeli occupation forces continued their bombing and airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip, leaving 16 dead and dozens injured, most of them sustaining serious injuries.
According to Qatar News Agency, in the latest bombing, medical sources said that at least 14 Palestinians were killed and more than 30 others were injured when Israeli occupation forces targeted a funeral home in the Al Sultan neighborhood of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Two people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on a house on Banat Street in the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that more than 60 people were killed as a result of Israeli raids and shelling of homes and various locations in the Strip since dawn on Wednesday.
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn Tuesday, after a two-month hiatus under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on Jan. 19. However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire throughout the two months, as it continued its bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip, leaving deaths and injuries, and refused to implement the humanitarian protocol, and tightened its stifling siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
