Ms. Kholoud Miqdad, Chief of Digital Communications Section at Qatar University (QU), has disclosed the upgrading of QU website and the Arabicization and provision of the website’s full content in Arabic and English. She said that the number of daily visits reaches 12 thousand visitors of the website, which includes 37 thousand content pages.

Miqdad said that digital communication is a tool of modern and useful communications for the entire world, which ensures access to information for as many people as possible, if not all. She highlighted the importance of digital communication given that it has become a modern necessity, since the world has become a small village, enabling users to have access to the last point in the world from where they are.

She pointed out that digital communication means whether social media, website, or screens through which we can communicate with QU’s internal community, facilitate communication with the University considerably. She added that easy access to information is available 24 hours a day.
