10 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza City

Gaza city: Ten Palestinian civilians were martyred and others were injured at dawn Tuesday as a result of airstrikes and shelling carried out by the Israeli occupation forces on Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that nine civilians were martyred following a strike targeting a residential building opposite Al-Wehda Stadium in Tel al-Hawa, located in the southwestern part of Gaza City. The strike resulted in significant casualties in the area.

Additionally, three women sustained injuries in a separate strike targeting a tent near the Sheikh Radwan Bridge in the northwest of Gaza. The attack led to fires breaking out in the area after flares were fired by the occupation forces.

In a further incident, another civilian was martyred in a drone strike by Israeli forces near Halima Al-Sa’diyya School in Jabalia Al-Nazla, situated in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The recent violence is part of a broader conflict where at least 63,557 individuals have been martyred and 160,660 injured since the escalation began on October 7, 2023. The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on Gaza following a violation of the ceasefire agreement on March 18, ending a two-month pause in hostilities.

The attacks have focused on various areas within the Strip, which has been enduring a severe humanitarian crisis during the ongoing 22 months of conflict.
